Are you interested in getting accredition in Customer Service? You can attend any one of our FREE 1 day training courses in Principles of Customer Service, Service across Cultures or Customers with Disabilities. For full information on course content click here

These course are free for Royal Greenwich Residents who are employed less than 16 hours per week or currently unemployed. You need to be over 19 and provide Photo ID and your National Insurance number on the day of the course. Courses are run monthly at various locations throughout the borough.

Having worked in IT, Logistics, Finance and Corporate Events, Linda Ransome - Lead Trainer at Green Parasol, is able to present the WorldHost Programme with enthusiasm and relate it to real-life customer service scenarios. Linda's early career in Hospitality and Customer Service saw her waiting on the Captain's Table in Danish Shipping and Silver Service waiting in the House of Commons. More recently, Linda was the Corporate Events Manager for a large venue in the City and organised large events, from Staff Parties to Team Building Days for Financial Institutions, Law Firms, Advertising Agencies, Media and Theatres. In addition Linda hosted wrap parties and award ceremonies for various celebrities, rubbing shoulders with Cilla Black, Gok Wan, Aggie & Kim of "How Clean is your House" and "Kerrang Awards" teams (to name a few) along the way.
